‘Sticker cars’ is a phrase you may not be too familiar with, but if you live in New Orleans it’s very possible you do. It’s a new breed of “customization” that’s hitting the car scene hard down south. You make the car “your own” by getting it vinyl wrapped, or, stickered.
I personally don’t see how getting a brand’s logo slapped on the side of your automobile is making it yours, but hey, what do I know. I guess it’s the same as the white boys who wear a tee shirt that says Abercrombie on it.
The two videos below are part of a short documentary of the Sticker Car scene that’s taking place in New Orleans.

I remember when 7734 had Mint’s parent’s hand-me-down car all pasted with stickers of graffiti throw-ups…you can’t perfume shit, folks!
I do car decals and vehicle wraps and IF you have the right design, it can totally change the look and feel of your car.
But I’ve never had a person come up and say ‘Hey, I like Cheetos. I was wondering if you could make my car a cheeto.’
Or would that be a cheetomobile?
Either way, if it’s a solid design, it’ll make you stand out in traffic.
