Those of you who’ve strolled down Houston Street in New York City within the past month have probably noticed the new art installation on both sides of the traffic heavy street. The artists used standard chain linked fences and inserted bright plastic diamond cutouts into each mesh, creating a “pixel” look. I’m happy to see something artistic happening on the chaotic corner. The bright plastic installation adds some much needed life to the never ending construction that takes place on the corner of Houston and Broadway.
The creators of the project have also gone to work on Fulton Street in Manhattan.
