Je Suis Une Bande De Jeunes is a photo lovers paradise. The site is composed of links to photographers “online shows”, which are (for the most part) presented in the simplest of ways, letting the work truly stand out. They have just updated their site with three new series: “You will never walk alone kid” by Nicolas P., “Chat noir chat blanc” by Jérémie E, and “A selection of pictures from rooms”.
“You will never walk alone kid” is a series of photographs taken in Liverpool, England. For the most part this set focuses on the gritty side of down, with photos ranging from disheveled and boarded up building facades, the locals, to a naked girl drinking a Redstripe while taking a bath.
“Chat noir chat blanc” is my favorite of the three newest photo sets. It’s a grainy black and white series of photos taken of photos pinned on walls. Beautiful.
“A selection of pictures from rooms” is a collective, and is displayed differently than the other two albums. Instead of a white page with a photo in the middle, your window is filled with photos. Even on my 20″ iMac, I had to scroll. It includes both b/w and color photos, of what seem to be a collection of friends houses and apartments. Photography by: Asen Ognyanov, Ale Formenti, Aurelien Arbet, Dana Goldstein, Erik Hartin, Jeremie Egry, Joe 83, Marco Barrera, Nicolas Poillot, Landry Ajavon, Lele Saveri, Philippe Gerlach, Roberto C. Madruga, and Thomas Jeppe.
If you haven’t been to jesuisunebandedejeunes.com before, make your way over for a wonderfully simple online photography presentation.
